On the heels of its Series C financing round and new customer win with LexisNexis, Isilon will unveil two new products based on the award-winning Isilon IQ platform. At Storage Networking World in Phoenix, Isilon will unveil Isilon IQ 1440 and 2250. The new products represent the industry's first fully distributed clustered storage system for digital content and deliver more than 20 Gbps of total throughput from a single volume.

Both the Isilon IQ 1440 and 2250 use the same OneFS distributed file system and intelligent software, yet incorporate powerful building blocks with different densities. The Isilon IQ 1440, with 1.44 TB per node, delivers the highest throughput available, while Isilon IQ 2250 offers 2.25 TB per node and is designed for customers with extreme capacity and scalability needs. Customers such as Paramount, LexisNexis, Corbis, and ResearchChannel are using Isilon IQ, and new customers such as R!OT Santa Monica, an Ascent Media company, use Isilon IQ 1440 for the business benefits achieved through superior performance, cross-platform integration, and management simplicity.
