With TouchStand's new digital downloading and CD burning features, retail consumers will be able to search and preview music, easily build custom digital play lists, and then download them to a portable device, flash drive, or burn them to a CD. Synergy Media Group, currently acquiring content licensing rights from major labels, independent labels and other content aggregators, will be previewing TouchStand's new features at the NARM trade show in San Diego August 21st through 24th.
The company also announced the beginning of two large-scale deployments with Altitunes, the leading airport retailer for CD, DVD, portable electronics and consumer electronics in 28 locations, and Value Music, a 66 store music retail chain. Altitunes will be placing TouchStand Media Kiosks in all of their locations, beginning with Los Angeles/LAX, New York/Grand Central Station, Orlando International, Atlanta/Hartsford, and San Francisco International.
